"The area was perfect for us during our stay. Only a 12 min walk to amenities and Skytrain. The room was well stocked. The staff who helped me was super friendly and saved my phone that I left on the counter until I went back to get it. Parking was easily accessible in both front and back of the property. Only thing, was the lighting was not super bright, although it was conveniently beside bedside with plug-in’s. Would stay again :) "

"I arrived at the hotel at 8pm on a Saturday evening the day before the Sun Run (i.e. a VERY busy weekend in Vancouver) and the room was DREADFUL. The smoke alarm was hanging by wires from the wall and the window leading out to the roof-top terrace had no lock. I went out on the terrace and was able to easily slide the window open and enter the room. I raised my concerns with the receptionist and received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She said "It's not my fault", "I can't do anything about that", and when I said that I would be in the room with my 4 year old and 7 year old daughter and just wanted them to be safe, her response was "Go and find another hotel then". At 8pm on the Saturday night before the Sun Run. I asked to speak to the manager and was told there is no manager on duty until Monday. What kind of hotel does not have a manager for Saturday night when it is fully booked? Eventually I found a security guard and had him lock the access door to the rooftop terrace and I found a window rod to jam into the window space so that it could not be opened from outside. This hotel is a shambles and the receptionist is the most unhelpful, rude person I have ever dealt with in any sort of customer service interaction. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and recommend anyone else concerned about their child's safety do the same."
