“Loved our stay here. Such a cute villa with modern amenities but lots of historic charm. The included breakfast was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Not too long of a walk from the train station or town center.”

“I've stayed several times before: it's a big hotel but with character. It's vintage 1970s (I should say):dated but well-kept, and full of references to Garibaldi. The name relates to the 'Thousand' who set out with the General to unify Italy in the 19th Century (Bergamo claims that they came from there). There are restaurants 15 minutes walk away. The breakfast - included - is good and very varied, and the staff are friendly. And it has its own free car-park: I've used it in the past. ……

“We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .”
