“The room we booked ended up having bed bugs. So my girlfriend and myself are covered in bites. The property manager offered to move us to another room, neither of us felt comfortable so we declined. We did get a full refund though. ”

“Very disappointed that there was not free coffee in lobby.They had a Starbucks machine which was amazing, but at some point they ran out of milk. I stayed for 7 nights. I had multiple issues with my stay mostly with housekeeping not cleaning my room on my first and second nights. My room was also very dark. Several lamps did not work or did not light sufficiently. There were ants and hair in my shower when I checked in where it remained for 3 days before I finally removed it. I was compensated……

“I booked for the wrong date, but Linda and Sal was very patient and helped me get into a room that was just as good as the one i booked. If you are looking for a clean and family oriented hotel around aeverything and a helpful staff please choose this hotel. You will not be disappointed ”

“The food was a step above other lodging in simular levels and it was refreashing to see the menu change daily. We stayed two nights and had no complaints.”

“Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Newport News was one of the worst on our US roadtrip. We had to change rooms during our 2 day stay because of non-working door-locks. The entire facility is poorly maintained. Bedlinen are dirty, all family members had bites from bedbugs all over their bodies after our stay there. Rooms are not well cleaned, ACs are dirty and full of dust. Breakfast is average, nothing special. Cannot compare to Holiday Inn Hotels here in Europe, a house like this would have had……

“Very nice hotel, in a convenient location, close to tons of restaurants and shopping.”

“Parking and check in was easy. The front desk was friendly and prompt. The room was impeccably clean. All of the linens were white. Everything seemed to be wiped down smelled fresh and the air conditioning was great. I’m actually shocked that I paid the price I did. I would’ve thought that a room like that would’ve went for more. I definitely will come back if I’m in the area!”
