The room was fine and the location is beautiful, but the service completely ruined our stay. The resort is clearly and consistently understaffed. At many points, there is only one bartender working — not just occasionally, but regularly — and that same person is often also responsible for running food orders. This means they are constantly leaving long lines of guests waiting just to grab food elsewhere. Calling this service is honestly generous. We repeatedly waited close to 2 hours for meals, and it’s normal to stand in line for 30+ minutes just to get a drink. Today was the final straw. We lined up before 12:00 to order something quick before heading to the airport at 1:00\. By 12:15, they hadn’t even started making a single order. There was no realistic chance of being fed before we left — even for something as simple as a hot dog. We spoke with a manager (Colin) on day one after waiting 2 hours for food that never came. He promised to follow up the next day and never did. The staff are clearly overwhelmed — this is a management and staffing failure. Beautiful location, but completely let down by operations that feel dysfunctional."
