The isolation fan in the toilet didn’t work. We asked the staff to fix but they said nothing could be done at the weekend. On Monday, still no one came to fix it. The walls were so thin that we could hear water running in the pipes and the sewage, even the air conditioner was making some sound of water dripping. There’re always flies in the room even you drove them out. They kept coming in. There must be a ‘fly door’ somewhere. One night at 5 am, the smoke detector siren went off for a minute. We asked for a change of the room but the staff said the type of room wasn’t available and they couldn’t upgrade our room. Very welcoming entrance and reception staff are amazing. So friendly Check-in was seamless and at the time of travel my wife had a broken foot and was using crutches. There is a large step into the hotel but we managed Our room was on lower ground floor and was compact. We would have managed but with crutches etc it would have been a bit tight. The hotel staff came to our room and offered us a family room on 4 th floor as they thought our stay would be more comfortable. Excellent value for money, brilliant location within 2 minutes walk of Piccadilly Tube station and their complimentary croissants, muffins, bottles of water, tea and coffee machine in Reception were welcome additions to our stay.
