Staff were pleasant. Rooms are basic but itt suited our needs for 3 people - just don’t expect any frills. Lots of shops nearby and tube station a few mins walk away.

The owner seems failing to replace toilet systems. it was all broken, i advised reception to spend a night stay amountnto replace. shower head was not properly working. it appeared big joke to any international visitors.

Bed wasn’t the best and could feel all the springs, base was like a camp bed so emphasised every movement. Room was very hot - could open window all the way which was good for the breeze but bad for safety. Toilet took about half an hour to refill, and the toilet roll holder was barely holding onto the wall. The sink started to block up if you ran the tap for more than a minute and we didn’t go near the shower which was over the bath, surrounded by old bad tiling. No safe in the room and receptions idea of a safe room for valuables is just a storage room to the left of reception that isn’t locked or even kept closed. No note taken of which room we were from or any form of ID so ended up using Stasher and paying another chain hotel to look after our bags each day.

AVOID!!! Ok so as a 2 star I wasn’t expecting much - but was expecting it to be clean and safe - which it wasn’t!! Good points: the bed linen & towel were clean. The man at check in was friendly. . Bad points: the room was disgustingly dirty! So much so we had to keep our socks on when walking around. The windows were broken, didn’t shut properly so was ridiculously noisy (and very unsafe). There were dead bugs in the net curtain, mould, thick dust, tiles hanging off, rusty shower in the bathroom and the extractor fan didn’t work as it was so clogged with dirt, dust and grime that was falling out! The kettle was unsafe as didn’t switch off so would keep boiling and boiling. And the remote control had no back to it, was filthy and didn’t work. Communal areas were stinky and dirty. Night staff only cared about watching the football on the tv with about 15 other men filling the lobby area. Expedia should stop advertising this god awful place as it’s a health hazard!!

Unable to fully close the windows in the room. 1 window was cello taped and there was a constant draft. Not enough plug sockets. Water stunk. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest with the silicone sealant hanging off. Shower curtain was very dirty. I would never stay there again

Room was very unclean, parts of the wall falling apart and incredibly dirty, tv remote didn't work, bed was uncomfortable, bathroom extractor fan didn't work, sink didn't drain properly, no amenities provided, and only one set of plug sockets in one corner of the room. Not satisfied and not worth the money I paid for it

Room service didnt even clean the room or change the sheets to the bedding. All they did was lazily threw the beds together. Didnt even change out our towels. They propably only went in there to snoop around and steal anything not locked in our suitcases. Room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. Didnt have hand towels. Toilet didnt even had a flush button. The thing didnt flush after first use. No shampoo, conditioner or body soap. Would give zero stars if I could. Place needs to go out of business.

I would give this hotel a solid 2 star review and that is mostly for the fact it was less than a 5 minute walk to the tube station. Check in was quick and friendly and I went up to my room. I had booked a triple and found there was only 1 double power socket in the whole room. Which I thought wasn't enough for the size of the room offered. I moved the beds around to a better configuration for me and noticed the floor had not been hoovered behind these single beds. Tea and coffee facilities were available but there were no spoons or wooden stirrers to actually stir anything with which was problematic. I was staying 2 nights with family and when the sheets were changed after the first night, I noticed some small stains on the clean sheets. Granted I did not complain about this and perhaps things would have changed had I done this. Positives - Close to station, cheap Negatives - Pretty shabby room, lack of power sockets, bathroom sink did not drain quickly

Lifts were filthy. Rooms old and worn and not the cleanest. Although it had tea and coffee and a cup . The room had no kettle . Tv had no remote . Outside and reception looks nice but once you enter the lifts it’s a different story .

Found syringes and other paraphernalia stashed above the bathroom mirror light. Black hand prints all over the wall next to the bed. Many of the lights didnt work. Smoke detector held to the ceiling with masking tape. Almost zero hot water pressure. I could feel every spring in the mattress. I dont believe the floor has ever been mopped. Lesson learned i wont be staying on my next trip.

For a budget hotel I was really impressed by the cleanliness and the customer service. I booked the double room although I went solo. The room was spacious for a single person but I think it would be too small people. I arrived well before check in time but the receptionist was so sweet he still checked me into my room . I was impressed at the cleanliness of the room and bathroom . The towels were nice and fluffy. The hotel is only 2-3min walk from the tube station with excellent and quick connection to central London .
