"This is like a little hideaway, when the cab pulled up to the building there’s just an elevator door to get into the hotel on the 3rd floor. The staff was exceptional and helped us with everything from locations of restaurants, subways, and things to do I would give them an A+ and would recommend this place."

"An amazing stay in Kevin's old house, the room was lovely, large and had nice furniture and all the features needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were amazing throughout the stay, helping wherever they can. The location is easily accessible to train stations and metro to the wider Shanghai area with two metro stations nearby. The breakfast was great and we are looking forward to staying there again when we can next visit Shanghai"

"Stayed here for 4 nights in late July. Had a wonderful stay! Room was large and bright, and had a really nice feel. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. Stay came with breakfast which was quite yum. Laundry room was very handy although it can get busy with only 3 washers and 3 dryers. Great location with metro literally 100m away, and short walk to Jing'an Temple."

"I stayed at the Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai for nearly a month and had a wonderful experience. The bedding was very comfortable, the room was kept spotlessly clean, and the indoor swimming pool was my favorite part of the hotel. The housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. "We had to get 2 rooms. The room we rented was supposed sleep 6. We had 5 people and had to do 3 in one room and 2 in the other. The rooms were small but serviceable and the service, towels etc. was acceptable. Don’t expect any frills but the metro station was across the street and there was plenty dining options. "
