“This property was exactly what was expected. It is a little rustic cabin that is far enough off 290 to feel like you are not in the always busy Fredericksburg. It is small, but the 4 of us had a lovely time. Mornings on the porch swing were my fave.”

“Great little cabin in the middle of the hill country. 40 minutes from Fredericksburg. I recommend going to Old Tunnel State Park down the road and seeing the bats come out.”

There was very little to complain about however, outside lighting upstairs were not working. Bbq pit was also rusted at bottom. “We've stayed there over several years and really enjoyed it. But its getting old. Front door lock and skeleton key were a nightmare. Several minutes of jiggling to get inside on arrival. Both of us tried, and then had great difficulty getting the key out of the lock. Same thing happened after we returned from a day of shopping. Took almost 20 minutes. Back door is hard to close because the weather stripping is torn and kept folding over on itself.There was a lot of ice build up in the freezer.We……
