“We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .”

“Our one night stay at the hotel was easily our favorite night of our two week trip. The room was absolutely stunning, everything was clean and every little detail of the room lay out, the dinner menu at the hotel restaurant, and the staff met every expectation and beyond. "We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room upgrade. Every single staff member we encountered was wearing a smile; in fact, no matter who was at the front desk, they always remembered my name. As a traveler from Taiwan, I felt completely welcomed and experienced absolutely no discrimination whatsoever. It was such a touching and attentive touch for our honeymoon. The hotel boasts a breathtaking lake view, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery peacefully away from the crowded areas. It is the perfect choice for anyone looking to relax and have a wonderful experience in Lake Como."
