“This place is beautiful. There are some nice updates and thoughtful items like shampoo, conditioner, a curling iron. It really is the little things. The view is beautiful. You are at the very end, so it looks like the ocean keeps going forever. I almost want to keep it a secret! It’s a little busy from people walking over from fort fisher, but I loved the people (and dog) watching. Met a lovely family who were fishing and caught a huge fish. "During our stay, the elevator was completely out of service, and we had to climb the stairs many times. In the breakfast room, one of the younger waiters had a very bad attitude and was extremely slow, except for one staff member who was fine. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, I really wouldn’t recommend staying here—you’ll feel like you’re sleeping on a train all night."
