The owners and staff were attentive and met all our requests. The fresh doughnuts were amazing and the gift shop with organic and sustainable products was a gem. The staff clued us in to some top rate local restaurants which added to the warmth and charm of our stay. We love staying at independent hotels and appreciate when we can walk away feeling a connection to the place. The Blue Spruce Motel fit the bill!"

"This place is absolutely perfect for any visit to Clarkson! So clean and comfortable and only four minutes away from campus. Wish I would have found this on our first visit. It is close, yet so relaxing by the river with so many things to do to relax. Beth, the host, is very kind and helpful for absolutely anything you may need. Definitely recommend to any first year parents for a perfect place to stay throughout your childs college events throughout the years!"
