"Front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We were lucky and able to do an early check in, which helped us greatly. Rooms and public spaces are somewhat compact but perfectly suitable for a short stay. Our room was comfortable, quiet and felt like a real sanctuary from the bustle of the street. Very convenient to the beautifully designed Moynihan Train Hall. A pleasant experience overall!"

"This is an historic hotel in an awesome location for seeing the NYC "sights" by foot or subway. The staff were universally friendly and helpful, the food was very good, and the room (bed) was very comfortable. It was neat to see its incredible history and how they've kept it relevant. I would stay there again!"

"I loved everything about this hotel!! It was right on Times Square. Lots of shops and coffee spots, down the street from the public library. The view outside of my room was breathtaking!! The cleaning staff ladies were so friendly and accommodating. If I visit again I will definitely stay at this hotel and I will forever recommend it."
