"This is a great place to stay if you, like I, wanted to stay at clean, comfortable place at DCL that includes a hot tub and direct access to the lake. Our family had a great time fishing, paddle boarding, paddle boating and kayaking at the lake. I caught some nice bass right there at the beach. A night time campfire was most enjoyable and the hot tub was absolutely perfect. We did have a bit of rain on day 2, but that left us with a day to play board games and hit some shops in town. Our host sent us entrance instructions that were very clear. Checking out was just as easy. We hope to stay at this location in future for our visits to DCL!"

"Our weekend getaway at The Lodges Sunset Village was excellent. Loved the quaint atmosphere and cozy cabin. It was a great size for 3. Close shops and eateries near by. Staff was accommodating and prompt. The only suggestion I would give is that when providing the cabin number/addresses to the lake side properties to use cabin5 address for all rooms. We were taken completely off track with the original address as typed in the gps. Also we would suggest a larger sign at the street for the lakeside property as we drove past it 2x. We had to remind ourselves to look for the green fence. Other than that would definitely make a return trip"

"Very clean, comfortable bed, cozy interior. We fully enjoyed our stay and all the fun anemities. Dave and Pearle set us up with everything we needed including guides to area sites to see! The grounds are so charming and takes you back to your childhood! Absolutely will visit Owls Nest again! "

"Overall had a really good, safe stay here. Location was great as it is right next to all of the local things to do! Check-in and out process was very easy and host was very straight forward. No confusion whatsoever! Parking was very nice and could fit multiple cars easily. Only down from all of it was the kitchen cleanliness. There was some kind of leftover food on the dish soap bottle, the counters and stove were not cleaned and the sink water was a foggy, brownish color. Other than that we had a great time. Overall, a good stay for the weekend."

"A perfect fit for our family of 6 adults and 5 children. Pool was terrific, and the door alarm safety feature was reassuring with little kids in the house. Kitchen well-stocked, everything clean. Fire pit was a big plus, ample outdoor space for kids to play. "
