"The house and beach are wonderful. 8 of us rented the house at the end of August into September to celebrate the life of my mother-in-law. The adult kids took over the roomy basement, while the older folks enjoyed the cozy beds in the 3 upstairs rooms. The kitchen table was large enough to seat all of us. The location was lovely and peaceful. Elizabeth was super helpful and a pleasure to work with. The location was great in that it was close to both Coupeville and Langley."

"This is a lovely home and well-located on Whidbey Island -- easy access to beach and to shops and restaurants in Langley. It is well stocked and kitchen items labelled for easy access.Two minor items we wanted to bring to the owner's attention. The hand mixer and at least one outlet in the kitchen (on the wall where the sink is) are not working. There are plenty of other outlets in the kitchen, but thought you might want to take a look and also replace the mixer.We found the management company quite unresponsive to our notes and booking requests, though they did ultimately respond there were long delays and many ignored notes. I won't book again with them which is a shame, since this property is truly lovely."

"This very cute cabin on the water was a great getaway for our family of 4. With a stairway down to the water we could use our rented paddle boards every day and even store them down there so it was easy to access them. The view was lovely and the space cozy. It’s definitely a retro cabin experience- but clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and the deck a great space to hang out. With only one tiny bathroom, I wouldn’t want more than one family in the space, but we were fine. The location on the island at Greenbank was perfect since it’s very central. Easy to get where ever we wanted in every direction. We rented paddle boards through Whidbey Island Kayaking and it was so nice to go out on the water every day!"

"David was an excellent host, and our stay at his property was very comfortable. His property is spacious and well equipped, so all our needs were met. The great big deck out back was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee, and the view of the Cascade Mountains and Saratoga Passage are outstanding. Overall 4-stars due to what I call a few "fit and finish" items where there are a few parts of the property still needing to be finished out (exposed ductwork in the kitchen), ...but do not let this deter you from staying with David. I would rent from David again, and I would stay at this property again."
