“It was your basic hotel room. We had trouble with the shower/bathroom. The tub was rusted through on the bottom, and the water pressure was laughable. Also, it was either the temperature of the sun, or freezing cold with no in between. The staff was great and had answers to everything we asked. The elevators and hallways often smelled of weed, and seemed to leak through the vent in the bathroom. Other than that the bed was fine, and the TV was nice. The restaurant attached to the hotel had good……

“I booked this hotel for a fun overnight getaway with my boys, mainly because of the advertised waterpark, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The room itself was fine, but the waterpark closed at 5:00pm!!!!! with check-in at 4:00pm, that left very little time to actually enjoy it that evening. That information should be made much clearer when booking. They ended up leaving a tiny little pool open at the insistence of a different guest, but were rude about it. The staff……

“We have stayed here multiple times and really enjoy this hotel. It is clean with great amenities. The rooms are spacious and we enjoy the pool/hot tub. Wonderful breakfast with friendly staff. Close to lots of great places to eat and we love how you can jump right back on the interstate. We'll be back again!”

“We have stayed at Hampton Inns all across this country, and the Urbandale location is by far our favorite one. We have stayed here a few times, and will more than likely stay a few more times. It's always a welcome place to be. Highly recommend it to others !! ”

“Reserved a one bedroom suite as part of a gift for daughter's birthday. Ended up butted up against elevator listening to it roar past 2 feet behind our heads. Oh and air conditioning didnt work in the bedroom. So those sleeping on couch froze while those in bedroom swelter”

“We stayed a Saturday night at Revel. Our room faced the interstate and the soundproofing from the road noise was very good. The breakfast which was included with our room was good. The coffee was made using beans from Friedrich Coffee per the signage which is locally sourced. ”
