"This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. There is ample seating outside which is great on a summers day,The grounds are kept beautifully. The hotel is an old building, unfortunately no air conditioning in the bedrooms due to the age of the hotel, but fans were provided, as we visited on the hottest day of the year. The hotel is very welcoming, all staff are very friendly, polite and helpful… a special mention to Helena on the reception desk, what a great asset to the team, so chatty, made us feel so welcome on arrival, 5 star service. We were upgraded to a deluxe room as a surprise for our 26th wedding anniversary, the room was wonderful. Our stay included breakfast which was buffet style from continual to full English. My only criticism was the hot food had been waiting around for a while under the hot plates and some of the food was warm not hot. This is a superb hotel and we will definitely be back. Thank you"

"A return visit to avoid the heatwave….. it’s always good to return to Danesfield. Such an idyllic setting, close to Marlow and the beautiful Chilterns. The room we had benefited from recently being refurbished, it also had a lovely terrace where we sat and enjoyed breakfast. There were some new faces amongst the staff but they were as friendly as the existing Team who always welcome us back. Another lovely escape…. We’ll be back soon Danesfield"

"The hotel is amazing, very clean, Nice interior. Very friendly and professional staff. Delicious breakfast with variety also gluten free food. The room was spacious, nicely decorated with super comfortable bed. Free parking was a bonus. Hotel is located in a quiet area so staying there felt peaceful. Nice swimming pool and gym free of charge for hotel guests. Will definitely come back."
