"The Parent Trap Suite at The American Hotel was perfect. It had everything one could need for your stay in Lake Geneva. The location is phenomenal, right in the middle of downtown Williams Bay. Terese was the consummate hostess. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Lake Geneva."

We have been staying at the Quality Inn for years,that changed yesterday! We stayed at the Hampton and will never stay anywhere else from now on. Great free breakfast,super friendly staff,indoor pool,Cracker Barrel right next door,and super close to I-90. And pretty much the same price.Hampton fans for life!

This is not the Ritz. But it was clean, the staff was very polite, the TV and wifi worked, and I got at least what I paid for. The A/C kept me cool on the hottest day of the year so far.
If you are just passing through and want a place to crash without paying a lot, this is the place.
I suspect that there is new ownership and they are working to modernize and renovate. Best of luck.
