"We had a wonderful time at this lovely property. Steve is a very timely and responsive host. The views from the house are beautiful and the deck had lots of options for seating. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and making s’mores around the bonfire. The only downside was the car noise from the nearby road, but if you’re not bothered by it, then you’ll have a fabulous time. The house and rooms, including all four full bathrooms were clean. There are some board games, including Scrabble, and Jenga, which we took advantage of. It did get cold our second night there, and the gas fireplace made it nice and cozy. Overall, it is a great place to stay. and our dog enjoyed the freedom of exploring the big grass yard"

"We had a wonderful stay at this home and enjoyed a fantastic weekend together at Lake Anna! The house was comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed.The kitchen was especially well stocked, with a great selection of utensils and appliances that made preparing meals easy and enjoyable. We also appreciated having plenty of towels available. The baby gate was a very helpful amenity, and the wide variety of games provided wonderful entertainment on a rainy day. There were also plenty of life jackets and kayaks available for us to use. Even though the water levels were low, we were still able to visit the boat ramp and enjoy kayaking.Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us. We had a great experience and will certainly look for this property again when we return to Lake Anna next year!"

"We had a great stay! There were some hoops to jump through with booking but otherwise we had a great stay at this house. Additionally, heads up that even though the listing says that the house sleeps 18 people, only 8 adults are allowed to stay the night."

"This house and the location are great. The house is a bit unusual, and the host calls it eclectic. For sure it is. Only issues we had were a few cleaning issues which we notified the host for notation.One other item to note, the house doesn't have any usable closets. So if you are planning to bring clothes to hang up, sorry. It appears that the closets are locked for owner storage. Otherwise, many upgrades, large downstairs showers, and more than enough drawer space for any weekly or longer traveler."

"We held a men’s cancer retreat at this property. It is an amazing property. The house is absolutely gorgeous, has an incredibly equipped kitchen and so many comfortable seating areas I don’t think I was able to try them all. The bedrooms are absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The bathrooms look like something out of a designer showcase yet are incredibly functional. The property itself has an amazing yard with every amenity you can imagine overlooking a beautiful lake. The new two story boathouse made me never want to leave. We had men out on the lake in kayaks, playing games, in the hot tub, and I thoroughly enjoyed my naps in the hammocks. We can’t wait to come back."
