The system was down when I was checking in, but the staff handled the chaos with grace and quickly got me into my room. We were a large group and they were extremely friendly and accommodating.

We could not believe what a charming, relaxing, beautiful place this was. Dale and Judy were perfect hosts who shared their knowledge of farm life, barn collections & antiques. Judy is a fantastic cook who serves food with flare on different dishes every day. Each room was decorated differently. We stayed in the Roost. We didn't want to leave. Photo books in the room tell stories of 15 years of B&B hosting and Dale and Judy are willing to share their own personal stories as well. And of...

Excellent hotel. Be aware that if you’re staying on a Sunday there are very limited options for restaurants/bars in downtown Mason City.

Staff was very helpful in grouping our family together. We especially enjoyed the use of the large common room by th 13 grandhildren (and some adults, and great grand children too). Only problem with the facilities was that our toilet was clogged when we first checked in. The staff unclogged it quickly but it left my germophobic wife uncomfortable with the facility for the remainder of our 3 night stay.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and complimentary breakfast was very yummy with lots of choices.

Incredible stay. I know it said bed and breakfast but we were blown away by the breakfast and treats that were in a jar by the entrance. Given that it is an old house I was nervous about the cold but it was cozy and warm. Not too hot at all. My only negative is regarding how quiet it is, I felt like I had to whisper in the room because I didn’t want to disturb the peacefulness. If you want a calm, relaxing stay with great food and beautiful architecture, this is the place to be. It was an...

Very good

Very inexpensive but does not feel like it. Room included a frig , microwave and coffee pot. Room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Have stayed here twice before and will always choose this when coming through.

Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Would like to see them use refillable shampoo, conditioner and body wash rather than the little disposable ones though. Would recommend this hotel.

Nice pool

Was under construction so can’t wait to see it again once it’s all complete!

Everything was in perfect order, the staff was friendly, and when we needed to check out earlier than planned, they were very accomodating. The desk clerk took care of everything just as promised. This took a little extra effort on her part since we had booked online. Very pleased.

Stayed there for 2 nights with my dog while moving into my apartment. The staff were so nice and accommodating.

We stayed one night and were very satisfied. The staff was very helpful with some confusion about our reservation and helped us. The breakfast options were typical. The breakfast room was neat and clean as were the rooms. Great value!
