-We were given keys to a room that was a dirty mess, so I had to go back to the lobby & wait in line all over again to explain the issue. The concierge was apologetic & said "I hope this one is clean," as she handed me another room key. The 2nd room was clean
-The 1st major problem I noticed about the room is that the bathroom doors do not close let alone lock. It's a sliding door and there is about an inch gap where it does even not meet the wall because of a design flaw with the tile trim along the base of the wall. Also, there is no exhaust fan. Absolutely no privacy. It is the worst hotel bathroom I have ever seen in my life. I had read reviews speaking to the bathroom door issue, but I thought I could avoid it because I paid extra for a "Prestige" room.
-Next day for breakfast we called in our order. We were told there is no room service so we'd have to pick up our food. That was no problem. My husband came back to our room with our food and I noticed that two orders of toast were missing. I called the resto & they asked for our room number and said they'd bring it right up (I hadn't even asked them to do that). We waited 5, 10,15, 20 mins and they didn't come. My husband went down to the resto to inquire and they said "Ya sorry, we forgot what you said your room number is." The breakfast was overpriced and extremely bland.
-Front desk is not helpful with recommendations. Use Google or Uber Eats for ideas.
-PROS: close to major attractions, great heated pool, comfy beds
