"Pictures online undersell this little cottage. The layout is family friendly and also completely suitable for a couple or even individual stay. The owner was very responsive and the property showed pride in ownership. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and such. "The title of this home is perfect... Newly renovated lake house... It was our most comfortable VRBO rental ever, where the pictures UNDERstate the size and comfort of the living area, dining room (with a gorgeous table for 10!), and bedrooms (super comfortable beds and linens)! We loved our morning kayaks on the lake and sunset drinks on the deck!"

"The house and location were perfect for 5 retired guys fishing on beautiful Schroon lake. It was easy to rent a pontoon boat at the marina and the house was very comfotable and well equipped . The kitchen was fairly new and the bedrooms were large with 3 of them having there own bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms upstairs shared a bathroom. I would recommend this property for friends or a family . The fishing was also pretty good and there is a nice beach for swimming . Brian C"

"House is immaculate, like new! Back deck is great for morning coffee and a place to read without the bugs. Everything you need in kitchen is there, no need to bring anything. Beds are plenty comfortable. My only negative is that it would be helpful if there were electrical outlets by the beds. Because of outlet placement, we slept in separate rooms. Some odd rules like taking your own garbage to the dump and stripping the beds and putting sheets in washer."

"Lovely home that has everything you need , located on a very secluded street . you can feel that this home is loved : has lots of great books and beautiful paintings ( home is owned by the artist ) Very cozy with a lot of character and overlooking Lake Champlain . Beautiful terrace . Local stores sell very good produce from nearby farms its organic and very tasty . great hiking at the Green Mountains for people who like forest ; trails are empty ( but about an hour away by car) Or you can walk...

"Lakeside location was amazing! The deck is nice place to enjoy some coffee or a drink. The house is stocked with lots of fun activities like books/dvds/games. Overall great place for a cozy getaway! The space is on the smaller side so good for two people or three at most."
