Tv was not plugged in correctly and wasted my time. If i pay this much for a room for 2 nights I really expect these simple things to work the first time and me not have to waste my time trying to figure out why the tv isnt working. Idk i think some of the staff is a little confused or lazy im not sure. Beautiful hotel and beautiful room with a great view. The room was not stocked with enough wash clothes for 3 adults, no soap or shampoo. No safe in the room either and for a casino hotel there should be a safe in the rooms."

SureStay Hotel by Best Western Thomson"Things were all older and dated, but everything was clean. Bedsheets were so old they were nubby. Bathroom was fine with very soft water. Included breakfast was marginal, with pop tarts and weak coffee. It was interesting having a busy bar in the midst of the building, adding character. It is also a gathering place for both Harley bikers and golfers for the adjacent course; quite a contrast. It's the only place around, so if we go to another concert in Mt.Carroll, we'll probably stay again."

"Room was 60 degrees when we got in it and took all night to warm up. Got a couch (hideabed) to sit on. Hard as a rock. No foot rests. We paid extra for no comfort. Had two thermostats and not sure which one worked. Breakfast was horrible. Dried up oranges and oatmeal, rotten bananas, cereal choices were sugar loaded cheap kids types, coffee was lukewarm. The bed was very comfortable though but covers too heavy and small."
