8.4/10 Very Good! (746 reviews)
I've been to this Hampton Inn a few times and this was the worst experience I've had. They were Going through renovations, which I do understand however, paper taped up on the elevators, banging during the day which they did let us know it was going to happen between a certain time. Second night I was there. The fire alarm went off at 2 in the afternoon as I was going to jump in the shower. It was an ear piercing sound that lasted about 5 minutes. I went out in the hall and asked a gentleman in that was there if we had to leave. He said, no, we're just testing it. They could've let us know ahead of time which is what I said to management. The staff (Mary) was very apologetic, but the manager was not , he rolled his eyes. And of course , as always , the pool and the spa area were closed because it was"under maintenance". Which has happened 2 other times that I have stayed there. One night I got back at around 10pm and the front door was locked and noone at the front desk. No sign showing that they would be locked at a certain time.
I feel like they should of offered a discount in room rates due being under renovations.
