“Everything was described accurately. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Dave communicated everything we needed to know. The only thing you could possibly dislike would be the road noise because the bedroom window faces toward Beach Road but Spring Break brings out activity into and out of the village until the bars close. ”

“My husband and I had an amazing stay in this adorable coastal cottage. The Vamo boat launch is literally the next street over and we enjoy kayaking, fishing and bike riding the neighborhood. Our dog particularly looooved the big fenced in backyard along with the dog toys that were supplied in the house. All beach supplies, toys and chairs were provided. Thank you so much for the amazing stay and hospitality! ”

“For our girls getaway we like to have a pool, the ocean, a comfortable place to stay and a deck with a view to read and relax. The place was very comfortable, the pool was great, the ocean a 1/2 mile walk and the lanai was nice as well. There wasn't much of a view as it overlooked the main road - which you can't tell from the pictures. Overall a great place to stay and experience Siesta Key.”

“Perfect location, right on the water. Very comfortable cottage right on the beach, near restaurants, close to shopping. The bed is very comfortable, nice kitchen and the bathroom shower is amazing. Very nice patio with an amazing view. Will stay here again. ”

“Thank you for being a great host. It felt like staying at a friend’s place. There were small little comforts like having sugar, salt and pepper, cooking spray that make eating in so much easier. Also, the half bath has been updated, so it isn’t the cinder block wall shown in the picture. People should be aware that that particular bathroom is detached from the rest of the house, but we relegated our family to go there for their “longer” bathroom breaks;) Super easy to go to AMI, and having use……

The Mermaid Cottage was exactly what we have been looking for with close proximity to the beach, quiet neighborhood, and easy access to get around to other locations. The location just over the north bridge to Siesta Key was ideal and allows you to be on the beach in less that ten minutes from leaving the driveway.
