Loved it! I stayed one night. Very comfortable, staff nice, and bed was cozy. It was quiet, a lot of places to eat around, and hotel is right by the freeway to head to NOLA. I would stay again.

Honestly, well worth the price paid for the room. The front desk attendant was pleasant despite us checking in after midnight. The room was small, a little run down, but clean. We would stay again if in the area.

I want to start off on a positive note by saying that the staff here was very kind and helpful. That was the one redeeming quality of this experience. However, the hotel itself is sketchy and disgusting. The room was disgusting. The bathroom had dirt and grime on the floor and in the shower. The sink smelled as if it had never been properly cleaned and it smelled like sewage when you poured water down the drain. The outdoor corridor leading to the room smelled like urine, the room itself reeked of cigarettes so badly that it clung to my clothes and hair and when I got home and opened my bag to unpack, the smell lingered on all of my items. Truly the most disgusting hotel I have ever visited. DO NOT STAY HERE! There were several other reasonably priced hotels nearby that I'm sure would have been better, because the Contempra Inn could not get much worse. I am usually not one to complain but I chose this hotel based on good reviews I saw and my experience was so much worse than what I've seen others say. I want to warn everyone looking into the Contempra Inn: Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE!

Super sketchy on the outside BUT room was clean and big. Ac worked great AND they had a mini fan on the wall pointed at the bed. That was amazing. They also required a $50 deposit even if you paid in full which fine but I did not see that stated when I booked. Overall would definitely book again.

We booked the room to try and get a good nights sleep before our 6:10am flight instead of driving from Biloxi, MS the morning of. We were in shock when we first drove up and saw this place but decided not to judge a book by its cover. Wrong decision. When we pulled up to our room and stepped out of our car there was puke in front of our car, duck poop and cigarette butts everywhere. When we walked into the room we were once again in shock. It was the smallest outdated room we’d ever seen. We couldn’t believe that we were in the premium Queen room that was advertised. We examined the bed carefully. The one + was that the sheets and bedding were clean. The mattress was absolutely terrible. My husband said that it was probably in worse shape than mattresses he’s seen on the side of road. We tried hard to get some sleep but didn’t get much. We should have stayed home in Biloxi and left at 2:30am, we may have been more rested. We just laughed to keep from crying. All week while we were visiting family in NY we joked and laughed at our premium Queen room. We will certainly not recommend this place to anyone. Also no handicap access.

The staff were genuinely very helpful and provided excellent service. We were able to park our car for free. Considering the price we paid, it’s hard to complain too much. In my opinion, the hotel management has done the best they can within this budget range, and there were even a few nice little surprises in the room. The room was a bit damp, and the air conditioning was quite noisy other than this staff was so helpful.
