"Cheap and in the Quarter"
Honestly, it's a small room that could do with a fresh coat of paint but when you're paying 200 dollars less than anywhere else in the Quarter you shouldn't expect the Ritz. It was clean, there was a bed, there was a shower and it was walking distance to the heart of the Quarter. Do you really need anything else? Will absolutely stay again!

"Easy walk to city attractions"
I had reserved a king size bed and room with a view. We didn't get in to the city and to the hotel until after 11 pm. Initially they weren't even sure there was a king sized bed, but then suddenly there was one. When we got up to the room, however, there was no view. Only could see other buildings. For as active as the hotel was (there were some conferences going on) the room was quiet although walking out into the atrium you could tell things were happening. Housekeeping did knock on the door at 0900 the day after we got in, so we put on the "do not disturb" sign. Other than that, no problems. Everyone was courteous and the room was nice.

"Great stay at a great hotel. "
Careful not to even touch the things in the mini fridge. We ran up a bill without knowing it just through examination! And the prices are a joke $7 for touching a coke. And $18 for picking up a jar gummie bears. The class of this hotel was deminished somewhat by the scalping at the mini fridge.

"Fine Old French Quarter Hotel"
Historic hotel has very nice and suitable updating; room was smallish but that goes with the territory unless your in the presidential suite. Liked the Carousel Bar and really pretty lobby. good food at the conference and in the restaurant. same kind of dining prices as found generally for well-prepared/presented food in the Quarter.

"Beautiful hotel, rude staff"
Front desk staff definitely need to work on hospitality. Also disappointing that after renting a hotel room you're still required to pay $30 to park at hotel, that fee should have been better disclosed.
