Our room didn't get cleaned enough during our stay. The neighbourhood was terrible. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Wouldn't stay there again as didn't feel safe walking to subway.

Hotel was over sold and because of that I did not get the room which I booked They gave me very small room and told me that it is executive room. What can I with that executive ness and room looks like a really small.

Hello there, I recently stayed at your hotel and was deeply disappointed by the overall experience. The surrounding environment felt unsafe, particularly during evening hours when I noticed individuals loitering around the premises. Furthermore, the cleanliness of my room was appalling; I found hair in the bathroom sink, stains on the bed linens, and a pervasive musty odor. Despite notifying the front desk, no effective action was taken to address these issues. Noisy, sketchy area, and bad service! Every single night the neighborhood transformed into a shady party area with extensive police presence. Loud music and trash scattered everywhere on the streets… The hotel itself was fine but they need to work on their service. We had no toiltet paper, no new towels and the bed was not made. They did state that the room service would be done every other day but they didn‘t show up. We had to ask for every little service at the front desk. The breakfast buffet was quite scarce considering that everything seemed to be out all the time. We even saw the maintenance man dunk his hands in the trash, not wash them or change gloves and then went to refill the coffee… seriously??? Subway station in walking distance. If you want to get dinner, you‘re going to have to get through the sketchy neighborhood first.

I'll start on a positive note. we stayed in the hotel for almost a week. the room was nice and clean after our arrival. staff was nice and helpful. however, there are some negatives that I can't rate better than 3 out of 5. the biggest problem is the location. just a few meters from the hotel there is a neighborhood that is not safe. In particular, if you want to use the subway, you go past queensbridge houses to the stop. It's not a big problem during the day, but it's worse in the evening. along the way you meet people on drugs and at the metro station you must avoid them. Since we were with a baby, it was really dangerous. it was my third time in NYC and it was the worst location for me from that point of view. I definitely do not recommend it for families with children. we often had to ask for room cleaning. We always left the room after breakfast and when we returned in the afternoon, nothing was cleaned. But they always cleaned them after our request. breakfast was a bit poor. however, what surprised me was the serving on paper plates with plastic cutlery. how much waste will you create this way? it's disgusting and not ecological. I couldn't do anything with it. The porcelain plate and stainless steel cutlery would be better. I felt like I was at a bad barbecue. I was really disappointed with the breakfast. The hotel is otherwise nice, so if you don't stay for long and don't use the metro, you'll probably be satisfied.

We stayed here as a couple for a 5 night break in NYC. We chose to stay here based on affordability, location to Manhatten and the website listing showing spacious rooms. We read a number of negative reviews about the hotel, largely down to the local neighbourhood. However, this did not cause us any problems or concerns at all, despite coming back very late. The hotel staff were excellent, particularly Christina and Edgar who were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was was huge, and super comfy. The breakfast was always well stocked with what we wanted, fruit juices, coffee, hot breakfast, make your own waffles, bagels etc. The kitchen staff were also very helpful. Would we stay here again? Definitely. Would we recommend to friends and family? Definitely.

Amazing time and very clean. Great service at the front desk with Alice, she was very welcoming! Loved the roof top! The breakfast was superb, a lot of variety.
