Wasn’t a fan of the bathroom; it didn’t look like it was cleaned. No garbage bag was left in the bathroom. The bedroom was oddly small vs online. The young lady at the front desk and the breaking dining (AM) shift were wonderful; extremely kind.

El elevador no funcionaba y no se mostraron dispuestos a arreglarlo. El hotel se siente viejo y descuidado. La tarjeta del hotel no servía. Al entrar al cuarto la tele estaba prendida. No entraron a limpiar hasta que se los pedí. La actitud de las personas de recepción fue confrontativa y poco dispuesta a resolver.

We stay at the Hotel on Rivington often for date nights and are never disappointed. Minjie at the front desk could not have been nicer nor more accommodating. Once again we are totally satisfied with the hotel and its kind and hospitable staff.

Hotel is still under renovations and unfortunately our room had a really old and very stained carpet which took away from the overall experience. We had two rooms for the party of 5 and the other room was already renovated with new floor. Staff were amazing, very accommodating, and pleasant. The view from the room was great and the location is excellent. Once the renovations are completed, this will be a true gem to stay in and enjoy Manhattan.

The room and public areas were clean and inviting. The staff were friendly, pleasant, and professional. The hotel is convenient to transportation and was also walkable. We always stay at the Rivington when we visit family in Manhattan.
