Ok hotel

Posted Jul 21, 2017
I was unaware of the requirement to bring towels down to replenish.....nor that the room would not be refreshed daily. Other than that great location and quiet.

Very nice room, would go back again.

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Pros: Clean, quiet, great staff
Cons: Hair dryers and a place to sit with morning coffee.
Many reviews are negative for this hotel, but I found it to be much better than expected. A nice clean room, quiet halls, excellent staff. I wish the breakfast experience had been better. It was listed as "grab and go", and it was what was advertised. Good coffee and muffins. I just wish there had been a place to sit. Overall a 4.5 experience!

Hotel with nothing useful

Posted Jul 5, 2017
WiFi don't work, no cups, no coffee in room, no ice machine in hotel, have to leave your room and go to front desk for everything

Housing

Posted Jul 4, 2017
Extended stay housing homeless And war vets. If this is the case they should not be in a room next to the other guests. One guy left his door open throughout the day letting out a horrible odor.

Not worth the money we paid

Posted Jun 26, 2017
Pros: Close to the Hampton Coliseum.
Cons: Clean rooms better, tell guest you must pay for room to be clean, keep entrance cleaned and plant some shrubs and flower. A little TLC goes a long way
We stayed at the Extended Stay to be close to the Hampton Coliseum while attending the Jazz Festival. I am sure the price was raised due to this event but I did expect more from the hotel. The tub and sinks did not drain and water backed up. The sink leaked and dripped. The bathroom floors were not clean and had sand in the corners. They do not clean your room unless you stay there for seven plus days and then you must go to main lobby to swap dirty towels for clean ones. We were not told this until I called and asked about getting the room cleaned. The elevator flooring for repaired with staples vs glue. The front entrance needed sweeping and general cleaning. The breakfast was coffee (no decaf) and muffins. The hotel didn't looked cared for, just enough to get by. I would not stay there again.

THE BREAKFAST WAS A JOKE. GRAB AND GO?

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: THEY LET US HAVE AN EARLY CHECK IN AND LATE CHECK OUT.
Cons: HAVE A DECENT BREAKFAST , CLEAN THE ROOMS BETTER, HAVE A BETTER TV REMOTE.
THE WORST BREAKFAST OF ANY HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED AT. WE HAD TO GO OUT EVERY MORNING FOR BREAKFAST. ROOM HAD DOG FOOD PELLETS ON THE FLOOR. POOR CLEANING OF ROOM. THE VOLUME CONTROL OF THE TV DIDN'T WORK. THE HALL WAY TO OUR ROOM WAS EXTREMELY COLD. I WILL NEVER STAY AT AN EXTENDED STAY HOTEL EVER AGAIN. ALSO, NO POOL.

Quiet and welcoming staff, breakfast underwhelms

Posted May 9, 2017
Pros: Quiet. Close to the Colisseum but, off the main drag.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Close the Hampton Colisseum, this area is filled with chain restaurants and stores like Target It was a short drive to water and historic forts.
I consider this property a good value. My room was quiet and comfortable and although I stayed only 3 nights, I could see a longer stay working well due to the kitchenette and the table/office chair setups(2). I was pleasantly surprised to discover the easy chair was a recliner and very comfortable. Breakfast is included, but at check-in they refer to it as "grab and go." It's very minimal and there's only non-dairy creamer for coffee. There were granola bars and various flavors of instant grits, I guess the presentation could use some more thought. Some fresh fruit would be a good addition.
