Newville Chalets

Set on a hill, you have a gorgeous view of nearby mountains and fields. Very quiet room, did not hear anyone else in the halls. Hot and cold breakfast had lots of options. Dunkin Donuts was a short walk and located in the front of the hotel. Very comfortable mattresses is a big plus for us!

We stayed here for a district swim meet. The staff could not have been more hospitable. They started breakfast at 6:00am instead of 6:30am, so the kids could have breakfast before the swim meet. The rooms were clean, comfortable and close to everything we needed. We will stay there again next year!

Nice place to stay, close to I-81 but quiet. Great towels.

Great stay. No complaints.

Beautiful setting for a relaxing stay. Clean, well-stocked bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Will be coming again in Sept.

THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE, LARGER THAN NORMAL, LARGE BATHROOM VERY CLEAN, QUIET, LATE CHECKOUT POOL OPEN TILL 11 PM

We enjoyed our stay would definitely come back and stay again. The hotel was very nice the people where all friendly and the atmosphere quaint.

I arrived at the hotel just as the snow began to fall. The front desk staff immediately was concerned and wished us safe travels out on the roads as I went to a restaurant that I remembered from 23 years earlier. The area was only suppose to only get 9 inches of snow but unfortunately totals was raised up to 36 (3 Feet) inches. Made it back to hotel after eating. The next day the whole hotel staff spent the night so that we would have breakfast and clean towels in the room. Being that...

Just an overnight stay for business. Enjoyed the restaurant. Truly appreciated the quiet hallways and comfortable beds. Employees were attentive without being obtrusive. As a woman alone I felt comfortable with the hotel

It was a little further than stated to get to Gettysburg but the ride to Gettysburg took us thru some amazing apple orchards and tree farms. The local pubs were very good food was incredible. First night we saw 3 horse and buggys, which was awesome. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was great.

What a relaxing and beautiful place to stay! This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and it was wonderful!!! The service was top notch, and being a clean freak, I can safely say this place gets 5 stars for being clean!

The room was clean, the staff was helpful and kind.

Although the hotel is right off the interstate, I couldn't hear any noise all night. Friendly reception.

Overall, was wonderful stay, good breakfast, wide parking and very peaceful sorroundings.

Always stay there overnight on trips to NY. Great room for the night. Staff pleasant, convenient location off er 81and clean.

Great time

Going to the Ref Cardinal is like visiting your favorite Aunt and Uncle’s house. Bill and Joanne have been doing this for a while and it shows. Joanne cooks up an unbelievable breakfast and both are great conversationalists. There goal is to make you feel like you are one of the family and I can say we truly felt that way. We had to visit Gettysburg College for our daughter’s XC meet which was only about 20 miles away.

Many in room features. All very updated. Great Mattress, pillows and covers. Slept very well. Adequate breakfast. No eggs, no meat, no waffles.
