“We happened to be there during the week between weddings so had the place mostly to ourselves. Lovely farm setting with vegetable gardens and chickens and pigs to wander among. There was a lovely watercolor painting exhibit in barn. Extensive trail system right behind the fields. Manager Stacy was very gracious and helpful. Breakfast cooked to order, delicious. Very peaceful setting.”

“The house is lovely, with good-sized rooms and lots of common areas. It's well-located, too - a short walk to downtown Barre. Really excellent breakfast, too!”

“Spacious room 7. 3 men for a bachelor party all slept comfortably in 3 separate beds (2 twins and a king). Breakfast was beyond expectations with tasty breakfast burrito too”

“The location for Stowe is great. This is an older building well maintained yet we noticed the porch a bit dusty, cushions and railings and floor. Breakfast was good but limited. There is a nice bar, but unmanned so you have to order drinks online for staff to bring. There are no cleaning, empty of trash, making beds, changing towels for stays of less than three nights. Considering the entire experience, the price is high.”
