"The staff was excellent and attentive. The room was large with a wet bar with an icebox. Outside was a bbq, basketball hoop, huge swimming pool and small putting green. Great location close to Mt Tamalpias, Stinson Beach, Tennessee Beach and the Marin Headlands. There was minor freeway noise and the facility is well kept but older thus the 4 stars. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!"

"Nice room, very helpful staff, location was great -- very close to all the things in Petaluma we wanted to do. Our 3rd-floor room looked out on the adjacent boat marina, which was lovely. We didn't take advantage of the hotel bar and on-site restaurant but we were glad they were there! Only a couple minuses -- TV in the room didn't work, ice machine missing from our floor, room a little expensive. But we had a great time and would recommend the hotel."

"This is a convenient place to stay centrally and along Hwy 101 in Marin County; it's easy to get anywhere in Marin or out to the Pacific Coast from here. The property is aged, yet the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff are quite nice and the outdoor courtyard areas are a plus, pool, hot tub, common areas, BBQ area are inviting and kept up. Its a solid 3-star property."
