"To start, I really did enjoy my time at Tidewater and even with this criticism, I would stay there again.
All of these rental vacation condos have a cleaning/resort fee attached, but if I'm paying an extra $300, I don't think it's appropriate to make guests clean before leaving. You are expected to wash all dishes and return them to the cupboards, as well as take out all trash or an additional cleaning fee will be charged. I agree with expecting us to wash them, otherwise people would leave...

The hotel was very pretty and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We booked a suite with a King bed and it was perfect for our busy toddler. It was enough room for him to run around and enjoy his time without feeling cooped up. The hotel is very close to multiple wonderful dining options and a very quick walk or drive from public beach access. We also enjoyed the state park with access to biking and walking trails right next door! We will definitely be staying here during our next trip.

The condo was beautiful with a view of the inland marsh waterway. It was filled with bird and turtle watching. The beach access was simple. The only thing i wanted was to keep it clean. The vacuum wasnt charged and i couldnt figure it out. I would have liked a larger bathroom off the master bath. But aĺl in all , we had a great time.
