“The internet was terrible, kept disconnecting. The jacuzzi was nice but it had this rule of not allowing anyone under 13 in it, and the swimming pool right next to it was really small. The breakfast was ok”

“Our overall experience was great. While the decor and general vibe are straight out of the '80s (as you can see from the pictures), everything else was fine. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. For around $100 a night, you get a microwave, a fridge, and they even provide breakfast—so there's nothing to complain about.”

“The Captain Whidbey is such a special place to stay on Whidbey Island. It’s a charming historic property surrounded by beautiful scenery. We stayed in a king lagoon room which had a beautiful view. The only negative is the mattress was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. But the property as a whole was lovely and don’t miss out on the restaurant. We had dinner & brunch there, both of which were fantastic.”
