before you book...it isnt 5 star but it is in excellent location..walking distance from restaurants and shopping...check in is at 4 and staff leave by 4:30!! So you will have to drive down to another location to check in afterhours!!!! If u are to check out on sunday and check out time is by 10....staff don't arrive til 10!!! The security male is awesome...needs a raise.. he walks and checks all day!!!!

Good location. Outdated.

Good location next to Pineapple Willys. Friendly staff. This is a older condo so it could really use some updating. Nice there are 3 pools to choose from. Each room is owned by a different person. My stay was with room 703. The bed sheets had sand when we laid down. We found a cockroach on the kitchen counter. There wasn't an additional door lock besides the one on the door knob. We asked the front desk about the cockroach problem and they said they would spray (after we kindly asked them to do this after we left). Per the front desk on the door lock, she advised they weren't allowed to put a lock on the rooms. No discount was given for these issues. For the price of the stay, I will not be back.

Great Location but dirty room

Pros: Good beach location.
Cons: Housekeeping -Unit was dirty. Microwave was dirty. Prior renters items left in room. Exposed balcony & room - no privacy on low floor overlooking pool
Location: Location was good - beach not too busy, next to Pineapple Willies, walking distance (via beach) to other bars/restaurants.
Unit was great location on the beach, however the dirtiness of the room outweighed the location. Room was not ready when we arrived, and when we came back to check in, the clerks was friendly enough but basically just handed us the packet of information and told us to read it all when we got to the room. We will not be back. Prior renters items were still in room when we arrived (after we waited for an hour for them to finish "cleaning" the unit. Living room furniture felt really dirty and went unused. Microwave had what appeared to be dried food and rust - was disgusting and we did not use. Unit was on lower floor over looking the pool which was not specified in unit description. Balcony was fully exposed to all coming and going from pool and beach and had no privacy whatsoever during the day or night unless blinds were closed -- which defeated the purpose of paying to have a room on the beach as we could not leave lights on, blinds open, or sit out at night as other guests and beachgoers could see everything. Felt extremely exposed & was difficult to relax.

OLD & BROKEN

Haven't seen a staff member yet... We showed up late to find a note that we have to check in at another resort, and no staff there in the morning to check out with. Room is extremely out dated... Tub barely drains, blinds broken, patio door handle broken, ... There is better on the beach, newer, with staff.

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING
There were NO Pots or Pans to cook with, The bedroom ceiling leaking, toilet broke, curtains did not close well at all and were not suitable for the room, no blankets or covers--NOT EVEN THE MASTER!!!, ONLY 1 PASS PER VEHICLE--- OTHER VEHICLE MUST BE PARKED AT PUBLIC PARKING and 4.00/DAY, NO WASHER OR DRYER IN THE "CONDO" thought that CONDO meant was furnished----RIDICULOUS!!!! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND!!!

Great experience

Great room and experience was awesome. We stayed in room 210E and the views were great. Room was clean. The pool was cleaned every morning and it is a few steps from the beach. We will be back!! Thanks Sunbird for a great week.

Awesome Vacation

We visit PCB at least 3 times a year and have stayed in many condos. Although the Sunbird is one off the older properties, it is still one of my favorite places to stay. It offers good parking, super friendly staff, quick elevators, close proximity to attractions, 3 pools (one seasonally heated), and best of all - right on the beach.
