“The house was great! We were a group of 6 that was visiting the upper peninsula for the first time and used the house as a home base from which to see other spots. It's only 10 minutes from the Shipwreck Museum, which is a MUST to see, 2 hours from Pictured Rocks, 1 hour from Oswald's Bear Sanctuary, 1 hour from Sault Ste. Marie (Soo Locks), and 30 minutes from Tahquamenon Falls.The house had everything needed for a relaxing time after exploring the UP.”

“Place was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. My 4 kids loved the games and playing in the sand. Owners were very responsive. We had a wonderful time, memories were made and fun was had!!”

“it was very clean -I would stay there again and next time would probably make it My homebase -parking was super easy, check-in was flawless- and it was very clean but there were dead bugs in the bathroom- this isn’t unusual for upper Mi- I only mentioned it for out of state travelers / very pet friendly and we will stay again. !!”

“Our room was quite a bit smaller than they looked on line. Note: you have to request housekeeping if you want it more than every third day. Many breakfast options, but were the same options all 3 days we were there. We would not stay again, as there were better options for the amount of money, that were closer attractions.”

“Pictures of cottage were not accurate. Very dilapidated cottage. Uncomfortable bed and no internet. For $200 a night, I won’t be back.”

“The house was clean, and there were nearby stores if you needed something urgently. However, the main issue was that the entire living room wall power outlets were short-circuited, preventing access to the TV and power outlets in that room and one of the bedrooms. The recliner couches were also unresponsive. I had to reach out to the owner and inform them that the situation was becoming too challenging for us to figure out whether the TV or power outlets were working. It took me about an hour or……

“My husband and I had a perfect Valentine’s getaway here! The host was so friendly and incredibly quick with informative replies. The location is unbeatable—just one street from the snowmobile trails and close to gas and town. We had zero issues parking our truck and 28ft trailer, which was a huge plus.The house was so cozy; after long chilly days on the snowmobile trails, the extra blankets and the surprise boot/glove dryers were total lifesavers! The kitchen was well-stocked (loved the air……

“We had an amazing stay at Hidden Haven with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog! You can’t beat the location: we got to wake up to Lake Superior views, hear the waves crashing overnight, and could walk a few minutes up the road and be on the North Country Trail for trail runs and hiking. Everything was super clean and comfy and we had everything we needed to have a great few days. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future!”
