“Mary cooked a delicious full English Breakfast for us. She was very accomadating and welcoming. We arrived at 8am, 8 hours before check in time and she held our luggage for us while we went to explore. Bathgate is a cute town and there are plenty of restaurants and shops walking distance from The Gables. The train station is an easy walk. We took the train into downtown Edinburgh. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, water nice and hot, and Wi-Fi is included. Mary provided bottled water, tea……

“We really enjoyed our stay with Alan and Alison (and Mr Tom). The room was the perfect size for us, with a modern bathroom, plenty of closet space, and a comfy bed. The breakfast options worked well for us, with Alan cooking breakfast items as requested. Several buses stop almost at the front door of the property; it was straightforward to get almost anywhere in the city. There were several restaurants and grocery stores a 10-15 walk from the B&B (also accessible by bus). We’d happily stay there……

“エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。”
