Overlooking square, close to an array of shops/restaurants as well as entertainment, we went to the stand comedy club. "Great location to explore Edinburgh. The rooms felt a little clinical with not much character, but were very comfortable. Great choice of breakfast. Good choice of restaurants and bars around and really close to Edinburgj castle. We chose the hotel partly becuase of the sky bar with the view, but this was only open on weekends, and children are not allowed, which had we known we may have chosen a different hotel. Overall a comfortable stay and lovely hotel."
