“We stayed in ‘Valentine’. The room was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The decor was beautiful and perfectly complemented such a beautiful townhouse. The location was great to explore Leith with its many bars, restaurants and coffee shops, but also very convenient for the tram into Edinburgh centre. “Bad experience ! First night the heater was not working but the supervisor just gave us a portable heater which is noisy and bothering us all night . Luckily the next day we asked them to give us a new room otherwise it would be a disastor . Room cleaning is ridiculously every three days . We asked them to do room cleaning the second day morning but when we returned to hotel around evening , the room was not done cleaning at all . What’s worse is that the supervisor gave us a lame excuse ,……

“Everything was great!! Except the elevator got stuck between the floors for a little less than an hour. 9people in a very small elevator was bad and the air was hot and stifling with one person actually passing out. The evening staff didn’t seem too concerned but the morning crew took care and tried to make it right other than that incident….it was comfortable and the area was perfect!! ”
