“Interesting hotel that is somewhat an extended stay. Way too much over-communication on the check-in process, to the point I was getting 6-10 push notifications a day. One night, someone was doing laundry until 3am that sounded like a diesel truck idling in the hallway. All that being said, it's a new hotel, and was inexpensive, and was a comfortable sleep otherwise. ”

“The property was OK. It seemed old and not up-to-date. It was fair. Food was good. Staff was OK. Room’s definitely need updated.”

“Our room was a suite on the 5th floor. Those rooms have very high ceilings, so drapes opened and closed with an electric switch. In the first room #501, the drapes wouldn't close all the way - approx. two feet short. Since the room faced east, this was a problem for getting sleep. The front-desk rep. willingly moved us to another room, #503. Those drapes nearly closed, but left a crack approx. six inches wide. Sure enough, we had sunlight pouring into our room early in the morning. The……

“A very solid and quiet building within which to stay. Very nice staff at the front desk and shuttle drivers. The hotel restaurant food was not bad at all, as one of our servers said, "Minnesota does comfort food really well". I would agree.”

“There was no onsite parking. We had to park in a city lot way down the street. No handicapped access.”

“Excellent stay for the money... We spent the day in Rochester for a mayo clinic visit and then drove up to minneapolis for a flight out of MSP... Stayed at the Fairfield overnight.. Visited the Mall of America, which was only 10 minutes away. Breakfast at the Fairfield was good and there was free parking... All in all a very good experience.. Highly recommended.”

“Beds were very comfortable. But I got up at 7:30am and was going to shower at 8 am and there was no hot water. Waited until 8:30 am and had to take a Luke warm shower. Wife said maybe because the Housekeeper was running the shower for a very long time in another room to clean.”

“Carpeting in the room was stained and dirty. It was mid April and there was no heat the first two days. They had the air turned on in because it was an old building. They could only have air or heat, not one or the other so they offered to bring a space heater to our room and finally on the last day of it being in the 40s, they switched the building back to heat. The rooms are very outdated for the price.”
