"I liked the expansive space. The loft room was easily three times the size of an average hotel room. The big industrial feel of the room and the building was very appealing to me."

"Well appointed spacious room. Shower and toilet are separate. Clean and smelled nice. Check in staff was very polite and welcoming. The parking was almost full when we arrived around 9:45 pm but there were a few spots still available. We were a bit confused with how lights and light switches worked, couldn’t turn on the floor lamp, but decided not to complain because we only stayed one night. Overall quite happy with our stay. Will definitely stay again."

"The Blackwell is in an excellent location on the edge of campus, is very clean, quiet, and has all the amenities you would want in a nice hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful."

"Everything was great except ... they could use heavier blankets on the bed instead of the light weight white ones. I asked for an extra blanket and it still wasn't enough. Comforters should be offered in the colder months or when it's cold outside in spring & fall."
