Unfortunately, the parent company has failed to invest in the property. The carpet, wallpaper and fixtures are over 50+ years old. There is a smell from age and the property is truly outdated. This makes the place, undesirable and people who have value will hesitate staying here. Again, this has nothing to do with the current staff - they can only do what the……

“The Surry in is a nice place to stay overnight on our trips from PA to Florida. Everything is older but clean and everything worked.”

“There is no Quality in this Quality Inn. The pool has been "temporarily" closed since Sept. of 2025. Rug was very dirty. Breakfast was better at other places. Parking was nice it was right at the door. Too much late night traffic. Ice machine was broken had to walk to the next building to get ice Peeling paint in the bathroom. NO handicapped rooms available. Bedroom wall was scratched up, looks as if a dog did it.”

“This home needs a really good deep cleaning. The wash machine soap dispenser was plugged and we had to clean it before we could use it. I can understand that ladybugs and stink bugs are going to happen, but the first night i had to vacuum around 40-50 ladybugs and about a dozen stink bugs. Then every day i would vacuum around 15-20 bugs. The yard was in need of a mowing BEFORE we checked in. Let alone the downed tree that’s almost blocking the driveway. On top of all of that the back door area……
