I was placed in the wrong room when I first arrived. I brought the issue to the staff’s attention and asked if any compensation could be offered because of the inconvenience, but I was told that wasn’t possible. When I asked for the corporate office’s contact information so I could address my concerns, I was then told that I could no longer extend my stay at the hotel. I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. I expected the staff to work with me to resolve the issue, but instead I felt dismissed and as though I was being penalized for simply voicing my concerns. Unfortunately, this experience affected my overall impression of the hotel and the way guests are treated when they have a legitimate issue.
