The Space:
Mermaid Landing is a quaint 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home with just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Port St. Joe. The home has a perfect layout to sleep 6 making it the perfect family getaway! The fenced in backyard, screened in porch and PRIVATE pool are just the few amenities this home offers! 


When you walk into the home you are greeted by the beautifully decorated living room with a sectional couch and 2 additional chairs for extra seating. The glass door off the living room that opens up to your screened in porch and fenced in backyard for your four legged friends. Around the corner you will find the dining room with a high top dinning table that seats 6, from there you will see the beautifully laid out kitchen that looks out into the backyard, you will find everything you need in this fully stocked kitchen. The first bedroom features a queen bed, the second bedroom also has a queen and the third bedroom features a bunk bed (twin/full) making this a great getaway for families! Between the fenced in backyard for your pets, the grill, outdoor shower, outdoor seating and the pool this home has everything you need for your next family vacation!

Wonderful family vacation home
Love the area and this home worked perfect for us. Short walk to beach, in closed pool, bonus we could bring our pups. Very clean, well equipped, great management communication. Can’t wait to return!!

Not quite what we’d hoped
We were so super excited to stay here - the pool, the house, the yard, everything looked perfects we were a little disappointed though. The house was spotless, so that was great. But the yard was totally uncut, it was about two feet high in places. It was hard to pick up after our dogs because of that and we noticed other people hadn’t bothered, probably for the same reason. The fence in the back is super run down, my husband had to pick up boards and put them back up. Our dogs are big enough that they wouldn’t fit through the holes but I wouldn’t trust small dogs back there at all. The pool was crazy dirty. Sand everywhere in bottom, the water was filmy. I didn’t put my head or my face in the whole time. The pool guy came (unannounced, which was great because I was undressed and he saw me through the glass door) and said the owner knows there are problems but had t chosen to fix them. He did a treatment and got rid of the sand but we only had a day left by then. The grill was also crazy gross and my husband spent about 45 minutes cleaning it before we used it. All in all everything was ok but when you pay that much for a place to stay you want it to be amazing. We didn’t quite get that.

Great Listing
This is a great property, and I would be happy to stay again! Clean, well equipped, and a great location! Pool was perfect 81-82 every day, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was lots of storage space to stow everything when not needed. Location was perfect, right between Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach. Plenty of room for parking, even with boat. Hosts were great, and check in/out was a breeze! Can't wait to be back.

Perfect pet friendly beach house!
Absolutely love this rental. Quiet neighborhood and super close to beaches. The house is exactly as described. Screened in pool/ patio area was amazing and fenced in backyard was perfect for our fur babies. House was very clean and nicely decorated. Living room was spacious enough for us to put two large pet beds in. Look forward to renting here again! Only negative backyard grass was a bit long and poo left behind. Pet parents please clean up after your babies!

We loved everything about this rental! Plenty of space. Lots of kitchen supplies. Pool was wonderful. It kept the kids busy for HOURS. Only 1 mile from Mexico Beach Public Access area.

House was clean and well organized. Only one towel per person, so we had to wash towels a lot. Beds were okay...nothing great. Pool was nice but extremely cold. Nice grill, we grilled out steaks one night. Not far from the beach. We would stay here again.

We really loved our stay here. It's perfect for a small group and people how want to bring dogs. The dogs loved the backyard. We brought blankets to put on beds and furniture. The area is really nice and quiet. The shipwreck and Joe Mama are a must for lunch or dinner. The shrimp company is the perfect place to go buy fresh seafood to take back cook. We would definitely stay again. The only disappointment was that the pool was not heated. Since, we stayed in December we couldn't use it. We would of paid extra for a heated pool.

Location
Perfect location just a short walk away from the beach and we we were able to bring our fur kids. The house had all the amenities we needed we enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner there and had plenty of space for our family of 5. The backyard has the pool it was a little chilly but that's to be expected in November it is also fenced so the dogs had plenty of room to run. We will definitely keep this property in mind when we come back to visit.

This place was perfect for my wife and I, our son, daughter-in-law and both our furry friends. The fenced in back yard was perfect to let our pets run and exercise. Great Location but house needs updates
Great location - easy walk to beautiful quiet beach. Neighborhood was nice and quite. Numerous beautiful beaches within easy drive. House needs updates. Master Bed needs to be changed as its extremely squeaky and mattress is extra firm. One rocking chair is broken. Patio cushions needs to changed. In addition, Kitchen is lightly furnished. It only had one 3x5 cutting board, no utensils for grill and grill starter didn't work. If you like to cook you are better off bringing your own utensils. However it did have a nice clean small pool for hanging out after a day at the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay as the beaches and area was amazing.
