“Convenient location”

“We checked in after a wedding at 11:00 PM. The front desk gentleman was great! Rooms where clean. The breakfast area is large. They had great coffee, juices, water. Waffles, egg omelets, bacon and potatoes. Cereal/ oatmeal, donuts. You could find something you would like. The outside seating area is nice which over looks the golf course.”

“Excellent location. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk to the Galena historic district, but be prepared for hills. The hotel does have a shuttle, however we did not need to use it. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was a buffet service set up in the restaurant. We definitely enjoyed our dinner at Frank O'Dowd's, and we understand there is live music on the weekends. There is a cute private walking path behind the hotel, called the Fairy Ring. It's a loop trail that's less than 1 mile.……

“We did not even say we went in the room and it smelt so bad of mildew and mold it was burning my kids noses and burning my throat. We cannot even stay in the room. We were offered another room but no refund however we did not want the other room because their office smelled just like mildew and mold as well. Meaning the whole building smells that way. The guy refused to give us a refund. The room is not worth $200. This was a rip off and they need to use their money to bleach the mold out of……

“The TV didn't work. There was a long sheet about how to get it working but who has that time? How about using the remote as usual? Every hotel should have blackout drapes but they did not. People moved into next room with a non-stop yipping dog. The stay overall was great but for price these issues need attention.”
