“This was just a one-night stay for us, but it was very nice. The property was well-kept, and the room was clean and fresh. The staff was very warm, welcoming, and helpful. We were up early and left, so we did not take advantage of the offered breakfast, but it smelled delicious.”

“The Cottage is absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time under the gazebo, playing with our dog and watching/feeding the neighbor’s goats. The kitchen is well equipped and the entire space is beautiful and clean. We very much appreciate the clear communications with the host and highly recommend this adorable cottage. We will definitely be back!”

“The kitchen counters were filthy. All of our towels were wet upon arrival. The floor in the living room had wood planks torn from the floor. This is a dangerous/hazardous situation. The furniture in the living room was dirty. The rug in one of the bedrooms was dirty. A towel bar in one of the bathrooms was broken. In one of the bathrooms there was no running hot water in the sink.Extremely disappointed! Definitely false advertisement through the pictures posted on line.”

“We have rented this house before for family event - and we rented it this weekend for family who came to town for our child's graduation from Hillgrove Hill School. We used it to 'hotel' just over a dozen folks who came in from out of town. The location and set-up of the house is ideal. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We only used the kitchen for breakfasts but it was large and convenient. It is a family friendly home with a great location for a family gathering in this area.”

“The staff was awesome. But the fire alarm went off three times in the middle of the night and we so exhausted from the noise.”

“The hotel has been renovated, and the room facilities are very new and clean. However, for non-smokers like us, the hallway has a strong smell of smoke, despite the “No Smoking” sign at the entrance. The soundproofing of the rooms is not very good. On the positive side, the breakfast is plentiful, and the staff are very friendly!”
