This hotel has a super central location, still quiet and comfortable. Our basic room had a little sitting area, which made it seem a lot bigger. Air condition worked great, the bathroom was very nice. The only complaint I had was the design of the shower/tub combo - the glass door did not keep the water in the tub and we basically flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it. Plus the shower head was leaking but it was manageable. Tons of restaurants nearby, walking distance to most everything. The hop on-hop off bus stops right by this hotel too. Hotel staff was very helpful, and they always had taxi cabs up front too. Nice stay, would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a great visit to Madrid!

From the moment we arrived, and was greeted by uniformed personnel was the beginning of the continuity of excellence in service. Check-in was courteous and a breeze. When we didn't care for the sight from the room window they were very accommodating in finding the exact room we'd appreciate. It was a slight increase, but far did the sight outweigh the expense. We walked in on a Sunday brunch that we particularly appreciated as there was a professional production from excerpts of an Opera going on during brunch...what a treat, and in such a beautiful setting. The staff as a whole were very kind and so willing to take care of whatever your needs were. We were even offered packaging service for sending items abroad. It was a 5-star experience in the proper setting, and placed so centrally that you could practically walk everywhere, and we did. We will be back! Hasta Luego!

"Excellent location. Very accessible to everything."
The location is great, metro, buses and taxis are just a few steps away.
We saw all the attractions by foot and if you are lazy to walk, take the metro.
There are variety of coffee shops/restaurants/fastfoods (KFC, Mcdonalds, starbucks)
around the area. Lots of people walking and lots of people selling some fake
items on the street along the plaza and areas near the hotel that makes it noisy but tolerable if you are tired the whole day. If you like the night life, it will not bother you
because I can hear the noise of people til 3a.m. Our room is facing the street
so, it is noisy. The room is clean and tidy. One key of our room is malfunctioning, it takes
time for us to open our door. Staff speaks English and helpful. Police all over the area so it makes us safe day and night.

Located quite literally in the center of Madrid—the “kilometer-zero” marker is a popular tourist spot—this neighborhood pulses with people and energy. The pedestrian-only Calle Preciados, which branches out from the main square, is lined with Spain’s finest stores. Those needing to find their way back to Puerta del Sol after a night on the town can follow the neon glow of its famous Tío Pepe sign.
