READ TO SEE IF THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! overall, the resort is okay for the price. rooms have AC thankfully because it is very humid in the lobby/everyone else. food was mediocre and they served the same things everyday. the staff was friendly. the drinks were good. we didn’t have hot water the first two days (it wasn’t freezing cold but it wasn’t warm). the rooms didn’t have much to them: fridge wasn’t keeping things cold, no dressers, the sheets smelled funny, and the floors weren’t too clean. wifi went in and out but overall had service. beach had a lot of shade so if you wanted sun, you gotta move the chairs away from the trees. we had to ask for fresh towels (for a room with 2 queen beds, they only gave us 2 body towels and 2 hand towels). we got a little push back/didn’t receive new towels until the next day. excursions were super easy to book. we checked in early for an extra $40 which was very convenient. lots of kids and families.
