Great hotel great staff

Overall had a great experience. Food was good. Room was always clean and comfortable. Spent more time at the pool because of how well we were treated by the bar tenders. Marcelo and Leandro were both great bartenders. We’re always making sure we had what we wanted and needed. Many restaurants to choose from with all have great tasting food. I would defiantly go back

upgraded!!!

My daughter and I arrived at Paradisus Punta Cana and were offered one of five upgrades they had to Paradisus Palma Real. It was paradise! I don't know what the actual rooms looked like at Punta Cana; but at Palma Real they were gorgeous. We first were given a first floor room, which was beautiful , but through complicated circumstances, were also upgraded to a third floor room closer to the beach with a view. (We are lucky that way ;) At Palma Real, there were several staff members that really made our stay special: Both my daughter and I want to give rave reviews to Angel, Argenis, Antonio and NIxon, who seemed to do everything from teach classes to man the towel station to performing in shows! Their attention, energy and positive attitudes made our stay even more special!

Nice resort for family fun

Great resort for the family vacation!!! More laid back than some other resorts we have visited in Punta Cana and Mexico. Great if you have young kids. Just enough activities but not too loud and over the top. Food was excellent at all restaurants. The only downsides to the resort if you are really picky, is that it is a large resort so you might have to take shuttle/tram to the main lobby and we wish the buffet had more variety.

Relaxing hotel

This was a really great place for the family. It was nice and quiet, lots of great food choices. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere with staff and the overall hotel. Great beaches and pool facilities. I really liked the spa here, and Kid zone where I could leave my son to do things by myself, he made a lot of friends here. Will definitely return.

Group fun in Punta Cana

Pros: Cleanliness, Service, beach, pool, restaurant and bar choices, entertainment and paddle ball courts
Cons: Food and beverage choices were, for the most part good but not great. Too many unused beach and pool chairs reserved with towels.
Location: Golf is $75 each with cart - reserved online, tennis and paddle ball courts were in fine condition and they had racquets and balls for use
Went to Paradisus for a week with a group of 40+ people. Resort was a great choice as it allowed for many activities for teenagers and adults. Positives included (1) great service (2) clean rooms (3) excellent beach and pool with no real lack of lounge chairs (4) paddle ball and tennis facility (5) beautiful grounds and (6) dining choices. Ares for improvement include (1) difficult to get reservations to restaurants between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm (took a lot of effort to get them (2) long distance between lobby and most rooms - need to take shuttles or walk and (3) no policing of people putting towels on chairs and not using them. I recommend bringing your own hard plastic cups (too small and flimsy at resort) and purchasing own premium alcohol at duty free (most alcohol served is rail). I would recommend Paradisus for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Best restaurants were Bana (hibachi), Vento (Mediterranean) and Fuego (sushi).

Rooms in drastic need of upgrade. Not very luxurious. Staff was not very helpful and rather mediocre unfortunately. We have been to the DR several times and this was our least favorite resort. It damages the Melia brand.

Great Stay

The resort is a beautiful place. ALL I REPEAT ALL of the staff are very friendly and honestly I was treated much better than in my own country. Kuddos to this wonderful place.
