“There was a cockroach in the wall of our room. While the staff were setting up the extra bed, the cockroach crawled back into the wall, and no one acknowledged it or apologized. I had originally booked a double queen room, but instead of moving us to the correct room or relocating us, an extra bed was brought in from the hallway where it was stored with other items and squeezed into the room. We waited a very long time for the bed to be set up.The maintenance staff who handled the bed were kind……

“Even though I had prepaid via expedia , I was charged an additional $10 in cash as a penalty for using expedia. Expedia said it was an error on their part for not listing that as part of the amount? They should have refunded. Room was nice but short on pillows, blankets and toilet paper.”

Inhave been staying in a different budget motel every night for two weeks so far. My selection criteria is price and reputation. I try to keep the price near $50 and i stay on the fringe of the town. I have slept with ants, operated broken amenities, and parked in questionable lots. This Days in is the best of the plades……
